Georgia police are holding two people in connection with the fatal shooting of
a man over a PS4. The man shot was attempting to sell his PS4 on Craigslist as
reported by police. The alleged shooter is a girl aged 16 years whose 16 month
old baby was only just feet away during the time the mother was committing the
offense.
MR Daniel John Zeitz, 28 had listed his Play station 4 gaming
system in Craigslist for sale. It was at around 9.30 pm that the victim, MR
Zeitz went to meet with a prospective buyer at a parking lot of an apartment.
It is at the parking lot where he had gone to meet with the buyer that the
victim met Nathaniel Vivian who is 20 years old and the 16 year old girl whose
name hasn’t been released. It is reported that the girl shot the Zeitz who was
struggling with Vivian.
Brookhaven police who were interviewing Vivian at the
hospital said that Vivian claimed that he was a crime victim from Brookhaven.
Vivian later told the police that he was shot while with his girl friend at the
Legends of Dunwoody apartments when they attempted to rob a man of his play
station 4 gaming system that he had listed on Craigslist. Detectives also found
out that the infant (16 months old) of the juveniles was at the back seat of
the car at the time of the shooting.
The two are being held without bond in the Fulton county jail,
while their child was handed over to girl’s relatives. The gun that was used by
the girl was recovered in the suspect’s car.
The victim was known as “Phobos” in the online gaming
industry and his online gaming teammate set up a GoFunMe page in order to raise
the victim’s funeral expenses. The page had raised more than $10,000 by Monday.
A video that was posted by the victim’s other teammate on Saturday about his
killing on YouTube was viewed nearly 20,000 times.
